In 2025, SIEHE Group customized a horizontal plough vacuum drying system for ACI PLC's pesticide production subsidiary. As one of the largest enterprise groups in Bangladesh, ACI PLC has a wide range of businesses covering multiple strategic areas such as healthcare, consumer goods, agriculture and retail. It has long used high-end European equipment and has strict requirements for equipment quality and process. SIEHE's product will help the client achieve more efficient and stable process upgrades in pesticide production, further enhancing its overall competitiveness.

Process Flow
Based on the customer's material characteristics and production process, SIEHE meticulously designed a horizontal plough vacuum drying system for them. The entire system is integrated and compact in structure, consisting of a powder unpacking and conveying system, automatic liquid batching system, mixing and drying system, control system, cleaning system, and supporting units.
1)Powder Unpacking and Conveying System:
Powder raw materials are fed and conveyed through a small bag feeding station, effectively curbing dust emissions during feeding and preventing foreign objects/large particles from entering. Material generated during the discharge process is returned to the feeding station via a built-in dust collector, reducing material loss. A matching vacuum feeder vacuum-conveys the material to the mixer, equipped with a back-blowing device to promptly back-blow adsorbed material and prevent blockages.
2)Automatic Liquid Batching System
Liquid raw materials are pressurized and transported to the mixer from a liquid storage tank. The liquid tank is equipped with an agitator and a heating jacket with a maximum temperature of 180°C. It is equipped with a Mettler Toledo weighing sensor with an accuracy of 3‰. The pressure inside the tank is adjustable to precisely control the spraying speed and effect.
3)Mixing and Drying System
Due to the tendency of materials to clump during mixing and the high requirements for drying, a horizontal plough drying mixer was selected. After entering the plough mixer, the material is heated and dried through a double-jacketed system. The main shaft and plough type agitator are three-dimensionally designed, and their high-speed rotation induces strong axial and radial motion in the material, creating powerful turbulence within the mixing chamber and triggering a powder fluidization effect, thereby significantly improving the uniformity and efficiency of powder mixing. Combined with side-entry high-speed flying knives, the system can quickly disperse and de-agglomerate agglomerated materials, effectively preventing the formation of clumps in the moist powder, further enhancing the mixing effect, and also possessing a certain degree of granulation capability. During the mixing process, heat diffuses within the material, and with the addition of a vacuum condensation system, the ignition point of the liquid and the liquid content in the air are reduced, effectively shortening the drying time.

4)Control System:
The independent vertical electrical control cabinet is equipped with SIEMENS PLC and touch screen control, which realizes centralized operation of multiple units such as mixing, drying, vacuuming, heating/cooling and real-time monitoring of all key parameters; powerful data management functions, including production formula storage and fault log recording, facilitate optimization and traceability, and have a high degree of intelligence.
5)Cleaning System:
The mixer is equipped with two 360° rotating high-pressure cleaning spray heads, which, together with CIP, enable one-button cleaning, providing comprehensive coverage with no residue or dead corners.
6)Supporting Units
Equipped with an integrated heating and cooling unit, combining a high-power oil heating system with a 50-ton capacity air-cooled chiller, providing strong output, a temperature control range of 10-200℃, and high-precision temperature control within ±1℃, accurately controlling temperature changes in the process flow.
Conclusion
This horizontal plough vacuum drying system was designed and manufactured with full consideration of the customer's material characteristics and process requirements. It integrates efficient mixing, vacuum drying, and intelligent control, ensuring precise material proportioning, high mixing uniformity, and stable moisture content control below 2% after drying. This significantly improves batch consistency and production efficiency. The successful commissioning of this system will provide a solid guarantee for ACI PLC's subsidiary to produce high-quality agrochemicals, significantly enhancing its core competitiveness in the global market.
