In a closed mixing condition, butterfly agitator and disperser can be lifted and lowered reciprocatingly, so that the agitator can reach the materials in the upper, middle and lower layers of the cylinder. It has good adaptability to medium and high viscosity and thixotropic materials. Dispersing and mixing can be carried out at the same time. It has strong adaptability and can be customized according to the characteristics of the customer's materials and production process requirements. The butterfly agitator is equipped with a scraper at side, ranging from 1 to 3 pieces. The scraper is made of a special high-lubricity PTFE or PEEK material. It can easily scrape the material on the tank wall off during the reciprocating process, thereby improving the mixing and heat exchange effects. Compared with anchor frame equipment, the butterfly agitator has a higher linear velocity and shear force, and has better dispersing and mixing effects and mixing efficiency for medium and high viscosity materials such as putty and ink. The dispersing disc can be configured with single-layer disc and German double-layer disc as needed, with high dispersing energy.

Work principle
Through the high-speed rotation of dispersing disc, the materials will become in annular form flow, resulting in strong vortex flow, which descend down to the bottom of the vortex in spiral state. During the process, materials are dispersed, dissolved efficiently due to the strong shearing crash and friction among the particles. The butterfly agitator can produce good radial and axial effects, accelerate material circulation, and improve mixing and dispersing efficiency. The reciprocating hydraulic system makes material mixing without dead angles, and improves mixing efficiency.
