Laboratory Vertical Mixer
Lab vertical mixer is a kind of mixing equipment used for laboratory research. It is placed vertically and has the characteristics of good mixing effect and easy operation. Using mechanical forces and gravity, the material is continuously lifted upwards from the bottom by means of a specific mixing method, such as the screw ribbon in a ribbon mixer, to ensure that the material is fully mixed. The vertical mixer is particularly suitable for the mixing of shear-sensitive crystalline powders and for operations where liquids are mixed into solids.

Working Principle:
The working principle of the vertical ribbon mixer is mainly composed of a rotating spiral and a fixed cylinder. When the material in the cylinder enters the machine, the ribbon begins to rotate, moving upward while the material in the center moves downward for mixing flowable powders and granular materials, a large amount of materials can be mixed in a short time, high standards of uniform mixing can be achieved, and the material discharge is completely clean.
Vertical ribbon mixer is usually conical barrels with a discharge port at the bottom for clean discharge. The mixing part adopts an electric lifting structure. The feed pipe is usually at the upper part of the mixing barrel for adding raw materials. The mixing part is connected to the barrel. The body can be separated for easy maintenance and cleaning.
The machine can be equipped with a heating jacket, which can be heated by hot water, hot oil, steam and other heat media; the whole machine is designed to be sealed and can be connected to a vacuum system to vacuum and discharge the liquid.
