Promast Kimya San.Tic. A.Ş. is a well-known adhesive making enterprise in Turkey, and got acquainted with SIEHE at the coatings show. The customer visited the double planetary mixer and other equipment in the booth of SIEHE, and learned that we have cooperated with a number of well-known adhesive companies in Turkey and a number of leading adhesive factories in the world, and reached a preliminary cooperation intention with SIEHE. After the in-depth communication between the engineers of both sides, the automatic adhesive complete production line scheme was finally finalized.

 Process flow

Based on the customer's material and production process requirements, we have carefully designed a set of automatic adhesive complete production line for customers, the whole line is composed of powder feeding system, liquid feeding system, auxiliary ingredients feeding system, mixing & extrusion system, tank cleaning & solvent recovery system, tank automatic moving track, control system and so on.

1)Powder feeding system

The bag is placed on the vertical lifting machine manually. After the bag is lifted, it is leveled by the shaping machine and then enters the small bag automatic discharging station. The cutting knife device cuts the bags, and the material falls into the transfer bucket below by gravity. Empty bags are automatically recycled. The bottom of the discharge port of the transfer hopper is connected with the positive pressure sending tank to quickly transport the material to the powder intermediate warehouse for temporary storage; The powder is fed into the mixer at uniform speed through the vacuum feeder, no dust in feeding process, and the weight is checked with the weighing sensor to ensure the accuracy.

2)Liquid feeding system

The main material liquid is weighted by the weighbridge. The tank is placed on the weighbridge, and the liquid is conveyed from the storage tank to the tank through the delivery pump for batching. The pipeline adopts automatic proportional valve, which can be controlled by PLC to open the valve Angle, and then control the flow rate to achieve the perfect combination of batching speed and precision.

3)Auxiliary ingredients feeding system

The liquid auxiliary ingredients are conveyed from the raw material barrel /IBC by the pump to the mixing tank for temporary storage, and after pre-mixing and weighing (incremental method), they arrive at the auxiliary tank. Each auxiliary tank is equipped with a hanging scale, and is conveyed to the corresponding mixer after measurement. The measurement accuracy is high, especially suitable for a variety of small amounts of automatic ingredients.

4)Mixing & extrusion system

After completing the liquid feed, gradually add the powder, and used with the vacuum system according to the process requirements.

The planetary mixer adopts the head lifting, which is not only easy to observe and feed, but also convenient for manual scraping and blade cleaning because the glue making process is easy to dry and wet gas curing. The matching tank with jacket, used with chiller to cool it.

Three extruders are used for material discharge, and the finished product is filled through the pipeline to the filling machine. The planetary mixer and extruder are connected through the orbit and turntable, the transfer station of the tank is convenient, and the mixing and extrusion are carried out simultaneously, improving the production efficiency.

5)Tank cleaning & solvent recovery system

The completed tank is moved to the working area of the barrel washing machine, the working head of the barrel washing machine is raised, moved into the material tank and fixed, and the automatic cleaning program is started; The electric or pneumatic motor drives the automatic retractable multi-group cleaning brush to rotate. During the rotation process, the cleaning head is always firmly attached to the inner wall of the mixing barrel, and there is an automatic circulation spray device to clean the material barrel.

The self-cleaning filter filters the solvent in the dirty solvent tank, so that the solvent is reused and the solvent treatment cost is reduced.

6)Tank automatic moving track

Small footprint, compact structure, instead of conventional forklift moving, using battery driven cylinder moving, remote control, simple and convenient operation.

7)Control system

Composed of Siemens PLC control system and explosion-proof touch screen control system, it has comprehensive functions and convenient operation, and supports manual/automatic formula input to achieve intelligent control.

 

Conclusion

SIEHE sends technical engineers to the customer site for equipment debugging and operation training, to assist customers to troubleshoot all kinds of hidden dangers, to ensure that the production line can be smoothly and quickly put into production.

This adhesive complete line is composed of sensors, actuators, communication networks and HMI human-computer interaction system, so as to realize the automation of batching, mixing, discharge, cleaning and other production links, to achieve the purpose of capacity upgrading. The MS sealant produced has excellent performance and is widely used in construction, automobile manufacturing and maintenance, shipbuilding, aviation, furniture and other industries.
